Incubation Model

Considering the start-up challenges we have designed three innovative model for providing incubation support to the potential start-up companies and MSME.

Equity Based

Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology has created a corpus of SEED FUND and further invest in the incubate companies. The percentage of total equity and other terms can be mutually decided. This will provide incubation support to start-up companies and MSME.

Revenue Sharing Based

We discount on rent and take certain percentage of revenue which helps start-up companies and MSME in reducing their operational cost in the early stage of their venture. We sign a MoU for 4 years (2 years for incubation period and 2 years for revenue share post graduation).

Rental

We charge a reasonable rent per seat from start-ups for incubation space and basic services. For start-ups Rs. 2000 per seat, for growth companies Rs. 3000 per seat, for student start-ups / alumni 50% discount for 1 year from 2nd year the charges will be same

Incubation Process

We have designed a very impactful incubation process which keeps us result oriented and focused on achieving the set target of generating employment and revenue through incubation program. This is broadly categorized in three parts pre incubation, incubation and post incubation.

This is an annual flagship program for selecting x number of start-ups for providing them incubation support at NIET Incubation center.

Direct Application
Any start-ups can approach us for incubation support 365 days. We select based on the merit of ideas and team of the start-ups and availability of space in the incubation center.

Selection Criteria
Selection is solely done through a rigorous selection process by an expert selection committee. We screen start-ups based on the following key parameters:

Composition of Team and passion.
Scalability potential of proposed / developed idea or product.
Strong Business / Revenue model.
Value addition and wealth creation for society.
Financial ability to manage operational cost for one year.
Willingness for exhausting equity.
